A frustrated Aussie man shared a photo of a potentially dangerous 'bathroom fail' he encountered while at work.

Steve, a tradie, posted a photo of a shower cubicle that contained an electrical outlet and a toilet paper stand enclosed within.

'Save time by using the hair dryer while showering,' he captioned the photo.

Having an exposed plug socket can increase the risk of electric shock.

Water from the shower can also result in an interruption that could make the outlet stop working.

In addition, the wires that are connected to the outlet may carry a live electrical current which poses a fire risk and an electrocution hazard.

The toilet paper stand is also simply unreachable as the shower glass restricts bathroom goers from reaching the toilet paper from the lavatory.

Many were content to joke about the ridiculous design choice.

'My teenagers would love this,' wrote one mum. 'They could charge their phone while showering!'

'How did they expect the toilet paper to stay dry in there?' asked another.
