While OshPop does stock classic butter and cheddar flavors, it also offers a wide variety of unique options including jalapeno, cheddar caramel and hot buffalo cheddar, sold in bags of various sizes. The store has specialty flavors for the holidays too, such as a "holly jolly crunch" with peppermint, dark chocolate and cranberry.

OshPop is open Wednesday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The store is offering extra hours during the holiday season, which are posted on OshPop's Facebook page, Anderson said.

Anderson has plenty of experience in the snack business. He also sells Snyder Pretzels in the Oshkosh area. He opened OshPop because he wanted to own his own business and do something creative.

"Since I sell snacks for a living, this is what we ended up with," Anderson said.

Anderson found the space for OshPop after his barber recommended it. Before opening, Anderson was debating whether to run his store as retail or go wholesale, selling to grocery and convenience stores.

He decided to go in the retail direction, but don't worry, customers can still buy giant bags of popcorn to share with the family and friends.
